2021 Spotlight: Cole Middleton

With the travel season on hold and no opportunity for prospects entering their final year of high school to play in front of college coaches to earn scholarships, LakePoint Hoops wants to put the spotlight on the Class of 2021. Each day over the next few weeks we will be profiling a top prospect in Georgia in hopes of helping prospects generate buzz with college coaches.

Up next in the LakePoint Hoops Class of 2021 Spotlight Series…

Cole Middleton

Position: Power Forward

Height: 6’6"

High School: Pace Academy

Travel Team: Georgia Stars

Scholarship Offers: College of Charleston, Georgia College, and Siena

Scouting Report: Middleton had a terrific junior season for Pace Academy in helping the Knights win another state championship. The 6-foot-6 post player is a monster in the paint and arguably the best rebounder in the state right now. He's quick off of his feet and has a ton of strength, toughness and tenacity that make up for his lack of height, and he shows it by consistently out-rebounding bigger players. He has great hands and soft touch around the rim. He’s continued to make progress towards becoming a better mid-range shooter.
