2021 Spotlight: Jalen DeLoach

With the travel season on hold and no opportunity for prospects entering their final year of high school to play in front of college coaches to earn scholarships, LakePoint Hoops wants to put the spotlight on the Class of 2021. Each day over the next few weeks we will be profiling a top prospect in Georgia in hopes of helping prospects generate buzz with college coaches.

Up next in the LakePoint Hoops Class of 2021 Spotlight Series…

Jalen DeLoach

Position: Forward

Height: 6’8”

High School: TSF Prep

Travel Team: YRN/Team Huncho

Scholarship Offers: Iona, Texas Southern, Georgia, Appalachian State, Ole Miss, South Carolina State

Scouting Report: A long and skilled 6-foot-8 forward, Deloach has recently made the move to The Skill Factory Prep. His combination of size and skill has drawn the eyes of high major programs and rightfully so. He has a diverse skill set and can do a little bit of everything. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor as well as shoot from the perimeter. One aspect where we have saw him shine at the 2019 Battle for Georgia was as a passer. He has an extremely high ceiling and could make for a very difficult matchup at the next level with a lot of versatility and the ability to play a number of different roles.
